Radiation Area Monitor/Alarm
Radiation Survey Meter
Radiation Contamination Meter

The design of the AustralRad Mini 3 in 1 reflects one of many latest technologies that we have introduced. A multi-purpose area monitor/alarm, survey meter and contamination meter for use with external detectors such as pancake probes, GM, scintillators and solid state detectors. Distinctive features include CMOS processor technology, auto range, light weight rugged plastic casing enabling easy portability, built in check source for self diagnostics and a wall-mount rechargeable cradle and PC communicator. Unauthorised usage is prevented through password key entry.

Our committment to superior quality design and engineering is clearly demonstrated in the AustralRad Mini 3 in 1. The electronics is the latest state-of-the art available in this type of instrumentation. To acheive a first-class product, we also source the best suppliers within Australia and overseas to compliment our operations.

Applications for the AustralRad Mini 3 in1 includes:

Industrial Gauging

Borehole Logging and Radiography

Manufacture / Assembly / Quality Assurance

All processes and procedures are fully documented and the following ISO-9000 Series accreditations in place:
• ISO-9002 accreditation for the manufacture of Printed Circuit Boards and Electronic Assemblies (standards Australia reference QEC3625)
• ISO-9001 accreditation for the design and manufacture (Standards Australia reference QEC200/02)

Printed Circuit Boards can be supplied to the following Military Standards where required:
• MIL-P-55110 D/E PCB standard
• MIL-P-13949 base material inspection standard
• MIL-STD-105 sample test specification

These certifications play a key part in assuring product traceability, process uniformity, and conformity to end user specification.

  • Real-time Measurement
  • Results directly to a PC
  • Graphical Visualisation
  • Data storage/management

The AustralRad Mini Software package is designed to provide a graphical interface to view and store the data of the AustralRad Mini. It allows for real-time measurements to be displayed as well as savings results to be viewed at a later stage.

The AustralRad Mini settings such as alarm threshold and radiation units can also be controlled by the user through the PC.

The view data / search screen allows searching measured data by a specific date range, and even on a specific time. Is available the option of graph viewing to the specific period and print option.

The design of the Gammasonics telescopic probe reflects the new generation of radiation detecting technologies that we have introduced. It allows users to carry out remote measurements of gamma dose rates up to 10Sv/hr on our standard unit.

The telescopic probe consists of an AustralRad unit clipped to a mounting cradle, which is installed on the telescopic pole. The AustralRad can also be removed from the probe for independent use as a contamination meter, survey meter or area monitor, unlike anything else available.

The telescopic probe kit consists of a probe attached to the extremity of a telescopic pole. The interface case containing the processing circuitry, which is more sensitive to radiation, is fixed to the pedestal of the pole. The power supply, the pulse counting and the display of the dose-equivalent rate is carried out by the AustralRad unit, which also monitors the alarm feature for the dose rate.

Distinctive features include CMOS processor technology, auto range, lightweight rugged casing and a built in check source for self diagnostics, thus combining performance, handiness, ergometry and sturdiness.

The versatility of the Gammasonics AustralRad Mini Telescopic Probe allows to the user detach the AustralRad Mini 3 in 1 and operate it as a Survey Meter or an Area Monitor.

1. Telescopic Probe
2. Contamination Meter
3. Survey Meter
4. Area Monitor
